Winter/spring and summer intern opportunities in Las Vegas
 
The Las Vegas Review-Journal is offering one spring and three summer reporting internships in the Metro and Business departments. We’re looking for ambitious, inquisitive and enthusiastic reporters willing to roll up their sleeves and help cover breaking news in this vibrant city while contributing impactful enterprise.
Our ideal candidates are on track to graduate in 2021 or are recent college graduates who have completed at least one previous internship or written for a college publication or other professional news organization. We’re especially interested in applicants who speak fluent Spanish. The candidate should be able to generate original story ideas, handle breaking news assignments, shoot video and be active on all social media platforms.
Start and end dates for the internships are flexible, but we’re looking for candidates who are able to work between 10 and 16 weeks. Our spring Metro internship could begin as soon as January, if a candidate is available, while our two Metro and one Business summer internships would begin in May or June, depending on the individual’s availability.
