KUNM Radio is the University of New Mexico radio station. The KUNM news team has a long tradition of award-winning work covering stories with an eye toward equity that highlight the voices of underserved communities. We approach our work in holding institutions accountable by reporting on the impact policies have on those communities.
As a news organization, KUNM values diversity of perspectives and points of view. We welcome people from all walks of life. In our effort to report the news accurately, we pay close attention to the voices we choose to tell the story, preferring to hear from real people, not just PIOs and policy makers.
