Company Description:

The Office of the Vice President of Research at Colorado State University in Fort Collins, Colorado, seeks an Internal Communications and Marketing Coordinator to help establish best practices for internal communications, build new channels, and have a key role in creating our brand story and voice among various campus audiences. 

 The coordinator, who reports directly to the Director of Research Communications, is responsible for producing and coordinating creation of content — storytelling, writing, photography, social media, marketing collateral, and multimedia – about the CSU research enterprise that promotes organizational cohesion and progress toward team goals. This new position is part of the marketing, communications, and events team responsible for executing strategies and tactics to communicate with researchers, professors, staff, students, University leadership, college deans, senior administrators, research unit leaders, donors, external stakeholders and business leaders. 

 This position requires a bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, marketing, English or a related field; five years’ professional work experience, with a minimum of one year in an internal communications role or related position; excellent writing skills in different styles/tones across various media platforms; project coordination experience showing successful planning and execution of campaigns, and capabilities with MS Office 365, PowerPoint, Word Press, Adobe Creative Suite. 

Candidates are expected to demonstrate knowledge of, and relevant ability with, culturally diverse communities among potential target and constituent populations. 

 Annual salary: $55,000-$65,000
