Job Description

The Omaha World-Herald, Nebraska’s largest newsgathering organization, is seeking an energetic and driven general assignment reporter to join our award-winning newsroom. This is an exciting opportunity to cover late-breaking news and events, working evening shifts and one weekend day to keep our community informed.

We’re seeking a hardworking reporter who thrives under pressure, can craft compelling, accurate stories on tight deadlines, and embraces digital-focused storytelling. This reporter will work with multiple editors and enjoy learning and advancement opportunities.
